ardener’s
Cottage was built in the early 1800’s. The cottage was
originally part of a larger property, belonging to a former
Launceston Mayor, and this is where his gardener lived. It
was later sold and lovingly restored in 1980’s to its
present tradition and charm. Gardener’s Cottage commenced
it’s life offering delightful accommodation to travellers
weary and otherwise. Our Heritage listed property is also
enjoyed by travelling professionals for its peacefulness and
seclusion.
Gardener’s is situated in a lovely cottage
garden, rich in colour and charm. The barbeque area offers
a sheltered spot to spend leisure time taking in the fresh,
clean air, ‘smelling the roses’.
Located only two blocks from the heart of Tasmania’s
second oldest city centre, Gardener’s is an easy walking
distance to many tourist attractions, award winning restaurants,
and Launceston’s extensive café culture.
Residence in this beautiful cottage of yesteryear
will be a time in Tasmania always remembered.
